Due to their design, the Kracht KP 0 external gear pump is a so-called gland pump. The basic functional elements, gears and bearing glands are housed in a high-strength extruded alloy aluminum housing, which is laterally limited by cover plates and flange covers.
The gear is made of case-hardened case-hardened steel and consists of a drive shaft wheel and a pin wheel. Highest manufacturing quality is ensured by skiving the tooth flanks.
Kracht KP 0 hydraulic gear pump note that the journals are finely ground. Due to the high number of teeth (n = 12) and the special tooth shape, design-related volumetric flow fluctuations and associated pressure pulsations are significantly reduced.
Gland bearings located on both sides of the gear carry the journals in heavy-duty multi-component plain bearing bushings and additionally contain sealing elements for pressure field sealing to compensate for axial clearance.
